Unfortunately, Summer is coming to an end. Days are becoming shorter and school is starting up again. Many of us will reminisce about our sunny vacations while waiting in line to shell out way too much money for text books we won’t even read. Even if you’re not in school, think about it as a kind of metaphor for life, or something. Yeah, that’ll work.
But wait, my fellow scholars (metaphorical or not), the end of this particular Summer is not without its positives. There will be plenty of cute girls (or guys) to chat up while not listening to lectures in class.

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is a dark 2D action-platformer in which you play an undead samurai dishwasher who must slash his way through hordes of evil cyborgs, naturally. The game was created using XNA Game Studio and was the winner of Microsoft’s Dream-Build-Play contest, which netted its creator, James Silva, a nice cash prize along with a Xbox Live Arcade publishing contract.
Silva, an ex-dishwasher himself, was kind enough to answer a few questions for us now that his schedule has cleared up a bit.
