Big news out of GDC today for Final Fantasy fans with a Playstation 3, as it has been revealed that the PS3 version of FFXIII will offer some extra goodies including a chance to get into the FFXIV beta.

Dante’s Inferno is a hack-and-slash hell simulator. By this I do not mean that it is an atmospheric game which takes place in the underworld, I mean you will feel like you are being judged and punished for your sins whenever you’re interacting with this game.

The ESRB has outed PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap, an apparent sequel by Q Games rated for the PS3, and almost certainly arriving as a downloadable title via the Playstation Network.

EA has announced via press release that the PSN will in fact be receiving a demo for DICE’s upcoming tactical shooter Battlefield: Bad Company 2, arriving with this Thursday’s update.

If Wet showed us what happens when bad game designers get a hold of a truly original gameplay concept, Darksiders shows us what happens when good game designers get their hands on formulaic unoriginal gameplay. Unsurprisingly, this results in about the same quality of entertainment.

EA and BioWare have announced the first add-on for their hit fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins will arrive next week for two of the three platforms it inhabits. Entitled ‘Return to Ostagar’, the DLC brings players “to the fateful battleground in Ostagar where the Grey Wardens were nearly wiped out,” providing new items, more darkspawn to kill, as well as giving another chance to add Dog to your party.

Wet. I suppose that’s an appropriate name. The controls are slippery, the graphics are watered down, the dialogue is dripping with pretentiousness, and everything that’s wrong with it can be solved by tossing it in the dryer on spin cycle.
