After an awkward reveal at E3 2008, Nintendo has been strangely quiet about Wii MotionPlus and the accompanying Wii Sports Resort, neglecting to make any mention of either product in their release calendars. Today the pair received an official price and release date.

You’ll notice that this post is a mere two days after my last one, which is probably some kind of record for me. Despite economic crises, Nintendo’s apparently doing pretty well for themselves. Global demand for their products has increased enough that they’ve purchased a 40,000 square meter piece of property in Japan, despite cutting their profit forecast. Apparently, they plan to both construct a new R&D center and merge their old center with this new one.
