Save the world from an evil sorcerer? Check. Save your bubble-bound friends from being squished? Check. Stop the spread of the dreaded Gamer’s Flu? Uhh…check?
Doctors, gamers, and everyone in-between can now attempt to save the world from a series of pandemics in the new point-and-click Flash-based game The Great Flu, available for free on TheGreatFlu.com. Dutch researchers created the game in an attempt to give people a better idea of just what it is that groups like the World Health Organization do on a daily basis, trying to prevent the outbreak of scary viruses such as the H1N1 virus (better known as the “swine flu”).
