Sony has announced that its upcoming PS3-exclusive interactive drama Heavy Rain has completed the development phase and is off to manufacturing. With the announcement also comes word that a demo will be available to try before the game’s release on February 23.

EA and BioWare have announced the first add-on for their hit fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins will arrive next week for two of the three platforms it inhabits. Entitled ‘Return to Ostagar’, the DLC brings players “to the fateful battleground in Ostagar where the Grey Wardens were nearly wiped out,” providing new items, more darkspawn to kill, as well as giving another chance to add Dog to your party.

Today marked the arrival of the Crash Course campaign, the latest DLC for zombie shooter Left 4 Dead, and some light fact checking led me to conclude that Valve has just created an Xbox 360 version of the game so that it could kick something in the nuts.

Eidos has announced that the Prey in the Darkness Map Pack for Batman: Arkham Asylum will arrive on PC, Xbox Live and PSN tomorrow, September 24, as a free download. Two new Challenge Maps are included with the pack.
