Sometimes you see something you get so excited about you just have to share, and Capcom really got me giddy tonight as they’ve sent out the Mega Man 10 pack art, and…oh gosh, I really hate just throwing the word epic around, but Proto Man looks solid and that purple dragon does appear to have turrets all over its body.

You guys know what grinds my gears? Remakes of a game when the original hasn’t even been out for a year or two. I’m looking at you, Koei, with your Dynasty Warriors bullshit Empires add-ons. Just make the fucking game you were going to make six months or so down the line anyway and release that instead. Oh, but it gets better. Because I’m here to talk about Capcom.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to interview Stephanie Sheh, a talented actress and producer in anime and video games. Her resume is extensive, and her video game credits include Odin Sphere, Tales of the Abyss, Suikoden V, and Resident Evil (she’s the current voice of Rebecca Chambers).
She’s also both produced and lent her voice to the popular anime series FLCL (Fooly Cooly), and her anime credits include Naruto, Bleach, Lucky Star, and Blood+. I also got to meet her friend Kei “K.” Yukon, who was nice enough to give her own input on some questions as well. They both even had some advice for those of us interested in voice-acting.

It’s been confirmed by producer Yoshinori Ono that Capcom will release Super Street Fighter IV as an enhanced edition to the successful next-gen fighter sequel. With eight additional fighters joining the fray.

The main character of Lost Planet 2 will be created by the player. You’ll get to customize the parts that your character is made of and you’ll even be able to assign different gestures to them. Some of the body parts and gestures you’ll have to choose from may even be a little racy. Like the “This is how I masturbate” gesture.

Capcom is on fire! Street Fighter IV is selling like hotcakes, Resident Evil 5 is out in a few weeks, Dead Rising 2 just got announced, and this morning they’ve revealed Lost Planet 2. Trailer after the jump.
