Alan Wake Archive

Alan Wake is a self-admitted homage to Stephen King. Up ’til now it was my belief that Stephen King was a book writer and therefore any homage to him would be best served in this style. I’ve certainly never seen homage to Michelangelo done as an interpretation of the Sistine Chapel through rock music. So though Alan Wake is a good game and good story, the two seem to have lost a little in their collision.

Update: Microsoft has confirmed a May 18 US release.
Original Story: X10 is currently exploding with new information about several upcoming titles for the 360. A new trailer shown at Microsoft’s event in San Francisco reveals that Remedy’s psychological thriller Alan Wake will see a May release.

There will be more to Alan Wake and his thrilling tales than what arrives on the disc when it releases in the spring. Microsoft has announced at CES that additional episodes for Remedy’s psychological thriller action game will arrive as downloadable content after its Xbox 360 launch.
