Rockstar is no stranger to controversy, and they thrive on that ideal. By creating unique experiences that puts players in the role of the anti-hero, gamers tend to flock to their franchises with reckless abandon like a pervert to porn.
With AMC’s Breaking Bad ending in two more episodes, Rockstar Games has decided to release Grand Theft Auto 5 at a time when consumers are clamoring for a fix in the form of a new crime story. With over $800 million worth of units sold at retail during opening weekend for a game on which we’ve been waiting over the course of 5 years, it isn’t hard to see why Rockstar is the top dog in the industry.
Though Grand Theft Auto 5has only seen release for the XBOX 360 so far, information has leaked in the form of hidden programming code from the physical disc that may hint at versions of the game coming to PC and the PS4. Though this is only speculation, it does seem pretty likely that we will be seeing other versions of the game pretty soon!
