If you’re like me, you love Terraria. You also have a full-body nekomimi pillow and an uncontrollable urge to bite people. Those latter two don’t matter for the purpose of this article, but the former certainly does. This year’s been very exciting for the adventure/crafting/sandbox/crazy game, originally released in 2011. It’s recently jumped to consoles, and now it’s heading to mobile platforms.
Terraria is now heading to phones and tablets, meaning people will be even more likely to walk into walls, hide away on their phones, and discuss the finer arts of digging all the way to hell. The controls have been completely redesigned for touch screens and every aspect of the game has been tweaked and balanced to give mobile players a smooth Terraria experience. Terraria for mobile platforms will support leader boards, achievements, and even Facebook integration so players can share screenshots of their successes, failures, and general hijinks.

Terraria‘s mobile version is currently being developed by Codeglue, and will hopefully be available starting this summer. There is yet no word on whether its release will be heralded by torrents of lava.Tags: Action, adventure, mobile, PC, RPG, summer, Terraria
