Buying a New Computer at iBuyPower

So, money’s going to be tight for me for the next few weeks, and I wanted to share with you all the reason why: I bought a new gaming computer. This’ll make Chris very happy since I’ll be able to review PC games and I’ll finally get to replace my 7 year old desktop.
Did I mention I think I got a great deal? I’ll share the information with you below, and you can decide for yourself.
A friend told me about iBuyPower.com, and if all goes well with the delivery, you’ll see another ringing review and we’ll try to add them to our affiliates. As for the price, I went ahead and compared it to sites like Alienware, and it far outstripped them after just a couple of steps. This new computer certainly isn’t top of the line, but it’s up there.
Feel free to comment on this; I’m interested in hearing what you all think. Have you heard of this site before? Have you shopped there? Did you like your experience? What are your impressions?

I was just looking at http://www.n4g.com and i stumbled on this article. Honestly, i was going to purchase from ibuypower.com until a very good friend of mines referred me over to http://www.phusionpc.com and i’ve never heard of them before. They had pre-set computers but I had to use the “CONTACT US” to let them know what i was looking for. And they responded to me really quickly and got me a better deal than that of ibuypower. It’s been working really well so far, and i just wanted to share that with you since you are in the market of a new pc.
I want to say several things:
(1) Congrats! Yay new sexy computer!
(2) THE HECK!? That’s damned expensive, but you are getting a huge HD, a Blu-Ray player, and a decent processor. The fact that you only know whether your graphics card is NVIDIA or ATI is a bit iffy, but at least you’ll get a solid brand.
(3) Customizing your PC is always better than trying to buy some stock thing–at least you know exactly what’s going in and hopefully what it’s capable of. But beyond the specs and the price, what about other details, like their customer service and return policy?
Actually, I’m getting the ATI Radeon 5870; it’s right above the thing that you saw, Meredith. And it’s very good, so here’s hoping it lasts a while.
Also, hookyhook, not to be the cliche “my idea was better than yours” person, but something about your site gives me the willies. I have some ideas why, but I can’t be sure. Regardless, hopefully you did in fact get a better deal than I did.
