James Silva has finally announced that his next project is The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile. We here at GD are fairly familiar with the founder of Ska Studios, as we have interviewed him twice before: once for the original Dishwasher game, and once for the simple but addictive I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZoMB1ES!!!1. The announcement comes with a trailer for the game, some screenshots, and some information about a few weapons and features the game will include.
No release date has been given for the game. It’ll be released to the masses on the Xbox Live Arcade “when it’s done.”
Silva said, “put simply, we are taking The Dishwasher to a bigger, better and more badass level. Fluid animation, insane combos, disturbing weapons and creeping mental illness are set to collide in a very bad way when this game launches.”
The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile sounds like it will be pretty full-featured with two seperate solo campaigns, a co-op campaign, 50 arcade challenges, and an “endless Dish Challenge”, whatever that means. A few of the new weapons in the game are the Violence Hammer, which consists of a girder wrapped in barbed wire and various other deadly pieces of hardware, and the Painkiller, an oversized syringe.
Those attending PAX East will get a chance to experience Vampire Smile themselves at the Ska Studios booth. The expo is going on from Mach 26th to the 28th in Boston.
