Resident Evil 5 is releasing soon for the PC, and GamersGate thinks they have the coolest pre-order incentive this side of infrared goggles and Master Chief helmets. Oh, I think you know what it might be.

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, ol’ GamersGate announced yesterday that they will be offering a 10% discount to anyone who pre-orders Resident Evil 5 for the PC!

Yeah, I know it sounds kind of lackluster in a world gone mad with additions and swag like battle damage Batarangs and other useless things that will never be used, or looked at, ever again. Yet, I say this is the BEST pre-order thing ever. Why? You pay LESS for the game! 10% less to be exact. If I had a choice between pre-ordering two games, the first of which cost almost double due to add-ons like an “authentic” sword, or the second which would cost me about 5 bucks less and is the same game, which one would I choose, I wonder?

I dare say the cheaper one, my good chaps.

Of course the game in question is Resident Evil 5 so its kind of a gray area.
