Final Fantasy XIII Confirmed for December 17 Release in Japan
| Erik Johnson |
Square Enix has just confirmed at an event in Tokyo that Final Fantasy XIII will release on December 17 in Japan. The game will go for 9,240 yen with tax which translates to a surprisingly high $100.
The date leaked yesterday thanks to some messing around with a URL on a flash site with the information supposedly hidden until after the announcement. That was not meant to be however, and today Square Enix merely had the job of confirming the date, instead of fully announcing it.
A North America date was not elaborated on any further than the previously announced “Spring” target.
