There’s been a teaser trailer, and some talk, but today Bioware has officially announced they are working on a Mass Effect sequel. Unfortunely, one system is being left out. Can you guess which one?

According to the press release, “Mass Effect 2 is coming to PC and the Xbox 360 video game system in Early 2010.”

What gives? Bioware Senior Manager Matt Attwood says  “I believe we’ll be Xbox 360 exclusive for at least a short period of time. We’re still working out the details on that, but we’ve had a great relationship with Microsoft and done very well.”

I suppose late is better than never for PS3 owners. Maybe an on-rails shooter for the Wii? The ball is in your court Bioware.
