The multiplayer map pack will supposedly bring a “new perspective” to F.E.A.R. 2’s  online experience. Monolith has not given many details so far but they have given some tantalizing hints.

The Toy Soldiers map pack will be hitting in April along with a  premium theme and picture pack. There’s no word on how many maps the pack will contain or what they will be like, but the name of the pack and Monolith’s mention of a “new perspective” seem to hint at oversized maps that make you feel like “toy soldiers”.  It seems like an interesting idea that I haven’t seen done in a console game but I doubt that it will be enough to jump start F.E.A.R. 2’s online multiplayer.
