Indiana Jones Coming to Wii, DS, PS2, with Kickass Bonus

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings

Still no word on the next-gen Indiana Jones game, but Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings should tide us over until then. In SoK, Indy embarks on one of his globe-trotting quests to discover the staff of Moses before some mean ol’ Nazis nab it for typically nefarious purposes.

LucasArts promises the game will “remain true to the spirit established in scenes such as Indy’s pursuit of the motorcade in Raiders of the Lost Ark, the mine-cart scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and the free-for-all aboard the tank in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.” No mention of anything from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, so that’s a plus. See the promotional video of Indy in action after the jump.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here’s the really exciting news: In the press release, LucasArts claims we’ll be able to unlock Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, inarguably the best Indiana Jones game ever made.

I say inarguably, because if you argue with me I will punch you in the mouth.

Its hilarious that its coming out on the Wii, as well as the PS2. Well, Nintendo, that’s what you get if you put no effort into your consoles and don’t upgrade them between generations. Serve you right.
