Snatcher, a cyberpunk adventure game from waaay back in the early 90s, which was created by a pre-MGS Hideo Kojima, gained a cult following for mature themes, a cool futuristic detective story, and for generally being awesome. Now, El Ash from the Junker HQ forums, is attempting to remake it with CryEngine 2, the game engine powering the Crysis series.
He’s been at it since 2003, and has gone through 3 different engines at this point. Only time will tell if it gets off the ground, but those of us here at GD that have played Snatcher (and appreciate insane genius) wish him all the luck.
